Cannes Film Festival

"The Festival is an apolitical no-man's-land, a microcosm of what the world would be like if people could contact each other directly and speak the same language."

-- Jean Cocteau

Throughout the generations, the Cannes Film Festival has become one of the oldest and most prestigious cinematic celebrations in the world. Every year filmmakers from every continent gather in the resort town of Cannes, France to observe, collaborate and pay tribute to short-form and long-form visual masterpieces from countless backgrounds.
With Tim Burton as the President of the Canns 2010 Jury, the festival was a splendid combination of creativity, imagination and fantasy for all to see.
Among those who were to witness these amazing events first hand, on and behind the scenes, were two of the Tracey Mattingly artists, Sabrina Bedrani and Laini Reeves. Their work was shown brightly at different film premieres and press events and only added to the sensational feeling of the festival.
